Sevenum / Eindhoven, 20 December 2021 - MedApp, the leading app-focused pharmacy in the Netherlands, which is part of SHOP APOTHEKE EUROPE since early 2021, entered into a co-operation with the Dutch health insurance company VGZ. The goal is to help patients dealing with their medication.

VGZ will inform their customers about MedApp's online medication management services as an important tool to improve patient health. MedApp users can set smart medication alerts, obtain a digital medication overview and get their medication delivered at home. With the app, patients also have access to disease-related information and media, improving medication adherence, convenience and eventually their health. Furthermore, it enhances the conversation between patients and doctors since they get a quick overview of the medications, measurements, and symptoms recorded by their patients.
